Entrepreneurship has become a hot topic in Silicon Valley. On October 24th at 7 PM, the North American Taiwanese Engineers Association (NATEA) will host an online seminar titled “From Industry to Entrepreneurship – Fireside Chat with Entrepreneurs.” This event will feature two entrepreneurs discussing their journeys in starting their own businesses, aiming to inspire those interested in pursuing entrepreneurship to take the leap.
The seminar will include Heeyo’s founder, Xu Xiaoyin, who dropped out of Stanford Business School to embark on her entrepreneurial journey. Her first startup achieved a successful exit, and her second venture is related to AI, which has already attracted investor interest. Joining her is Chen Pinyi, co-founder of Pax AI, who left a stable position at a well-known tech company to start her own company. Both will share their experiences, challenges faced, and valuable insights from their entrepreneurial paths.
Peggy Pan, a board member of the North American Taiwanese Engineers Association and the organizer of the seminar, notes that many individuals in Silicon Valley hold stable jobs at large tech companies yet hesitate to act on their entrepreneurial aspirations. This event aims to encourage such individuals through the stories of the speakers, turning thoughts into action. The seminar is free to attend, but registration is required in advance at: https://shorturl.at/QsIca.
