On September 23, the National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) made an important announcement through its official WeChat account regarding the recent allegations of fraud involving Wuxi Hongqiao Hospital in the healthcare insurance system. A special inspection team was dispatched to the hospital for an in-depth review earlier today.
Furthermore, the NHSA is working closely with the Jiangsu Provincial Healthcare Security Administration to deploy 20 inspection teams across all districts and counties within Wuxi. These teams will conduct thorough inspections of over 100 designated medical institutions.
The healthcare authorities have emphasized their commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards any fraudulent activities or abuse of the insurance system. They have assured the public that if any misconduct is uncovered, strict penalties will be implemented.
