NBA star Dinwiddie moves to Dallas, sells Sacred Valley mansion for $7.7 million_1

In a recent development, Spencer Dinwiddie, who was traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Toronto Raptors last season and later joined the Los Angeles Lakers, has decided to return to Dallas as a completely free agent this offseason. As the new NBA season approaches, he plans to list his luxurious home in San Fernando Valley for sale, with an asking price of $7.7 million.

Dinwiddie originally purchased this modern Craftsman-style residence for $6.9 million in 2022. Situated in an exclusive gated community nestled between Malibu and Calabasas, the neighborhood is home to just 26 residences. After a brief tenure with the Lakers, Dinwiddie has opted to list the home at the same price it was initially listed for in 2022.

This exquisite property is located at the end of a long gated driveway, perched on over an acre of elevated land. According to the listing details, it was meticulously crafted in 2021 by a seasoned and highly skilled Southern California builder, featuring a stunning deep beige exterior complemented by white accents, a driveway plaza, and a four-car garage.

Spanning 7,200 square feet, the interior boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, adorned with high ceilings, red oak flooring, natural stone details, and Italian light fixtures. Multiple balconies and terraces provide seamless indoor-outdoor connectivity, showcasing breathtaking views of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Guests are welcomed by a grand entrance that features a wooden front door set beneath a stone-columned porch with gas lanterns, creating an inviting atmosphere. The foyer showcases a winding wrought-iron staircase that leads to a living room with a beamed ceiling, complete with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and a wet bar with a wine cellar.

Additional amenities include a formal dining room and a cozy family room with its own fireplace, which connects to a high-end kitchen through a casual dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a spacious island, butcher-block style countertops, and top-of-the-line Gaggenau appliances. When the sliding glass doors are opened, the outdoor dining and entertainment terrace features its own fire pit.

The main floor also includes an office space, while the upstairs primary suite covers approximately 1,000 square feet, featuring a fireplace, sitting area, private balcony, custom walk-in closet, and a luxe bathroom with dual vanities, a double shower, soaking tub, and a separate makeup area. Additionally, there are three guest bedrooms with attached bathrooms and a lounge area.

For those seeking a resort-like outdoor experience, the property offers an infinity pool with spa features, an outdoor kitchen, and a fire pit area with steps leading to a gazebo. The home is also equipped with a Crestron smart home system for added convenience and lifestyle enhancements.

Having played for the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers last season, Dinwiddie has now signed a new contract with the Dallas Mavericks, marking his return to the team he previously played for during the 2021-2022 season.
