This win boosts Bayelsa Queens to a total of six points after just two games.
Reflecting on their previous performance, Bayelsa Queens opened the tournament with a bang, delivering a commanding 6-0 defeat to Braveheart Ladies FC. The tournament has offered fans several thrilling matches, including a dramatic 2-2 draw between Braveheart and Espoir FC from Benin Republic. Additionally, Heartland Queens claimed a 2-0 victory over Delta Babes, thanks to a standout performance from Emmanuel James, who scored both goals.
Nasarawa Amazons also captured attention by overpowering Confluence Queens with a score of 4-0, while Fortress Ladies triumphed over Aigle Royal from Benin Republic with a 2-0 win.
Looking ahead, today promises to be an exciting day of matches, particularly with the highly anticipated face-off between defending champions Edo Queens and their rivals, Remo Stars Ladies, at the Uniben Sports Complex.
